Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology from accredited institution.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Organizational, communication and computer skills; ability to work independently and in a team; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex technical procedures in the laboratory information system; may include phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing, reporting and storage.
• Maintains quality control, preventive maintenance, and proper documentation.
• Upholds applicable laws and regulations; protects patient information; participates in quality assurance and training activities.
