Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Professional to join the team at Ascension Seton Hays in Kyle, Texas. The role supports routine and advanced testing, ensures instrument functionality, and delivers timely, accurate results in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a relevant degree or MLS and experience in clinical laboratory testing, with a shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm on weekdays and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or MLS degree.
• 1+ year of clinical laboratory testing experience.
• Ability to work in a high-volume lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing per SOPs.
• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures and tests.
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper function.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
• Maintain quality control and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with processing specimens and manage bench supplies.

MLS degree
