Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Professional to join the Ascension West Emergency Department in Wichita, KS, for night shift work. You will perform routine and complex testing, monitor instruments, and ensure timely, accurate results to support patient care.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science and 1+ year of lab experience or an MLS degree; ASCP/AMT certification preferred. Flexible schedule and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to criteria.
• Perform routine and complex procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Prepare, test and evaluate reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
• Maintain safety and quality through QC procedures.
