Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology is required.
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree is needed.
• Experience in a high volume laboratory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor and operate instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
