Job summary

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Certification from ASCP, AMT, or equivalent board in MLT/MT/MLS is required.
• One year of specialized clinical laboratory experience or graduate-level education may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests in Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Diagnostic Immunology, and Phlebotomy per regulatory guidelines.
• Set up computerized equipment with correct patient ID and analysis programs.
• Prepare specimens and secure necessary supplies for analysis.
• Evaluate procedures to ensure specimen suitability and request new specimens if needed.
• Calibrate equipment and perform daily quality control procedures.
• Input data in Quality Control/QA logs.
• Perform preventive maintenance as required.
