Job summary

Qualifications

• Clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Minimum: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or completion of a 50-week US military medical laboratory training program.

Responsibilities

• Receives, identifies, organizes, and prioritizes specimens to ensure accurate and timely test processing.
• Performs and reports requested laboratory procedures.
• Performs quality control, proficiency testing and routine instrument maintenance and inventory control.
• Evaluates positive patient identification to reduce analytical and post-analytical errors.
• Supports life long learning.
• Completes assigned goals.
