Job summary

Qualifications

• One year experience in drawing blood specimens.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room, calibrate equipment and prepare materials for patients undergoing procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and transfer/position patients during procedures.
• Draw blood/urine/tissue specimens using venipuncture, finger/heel sticks as ordered.
• Label specimens and enter data into the patient record.
• Maintain filing system for patient information and reports lab results.
