Job summary

UCSF Health in San Francisco seeks a Phlebotomy Technician to receive, label, and process specimens, input patient data, and answer test-related inquiries. You will operate Total Lab Automation and the TUG sample delivery system to support accurate patient diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and process specimens for analysis.
• Input patient data into the computer and accession specimens.
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding test information and results.
• Operate and troubleshoot Total Lab Automation system.
• Monitor the TUG sample delivery system.
• Perform tasks efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision to ensure good patient care.
