UCSF Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide services for inpatient and outpatient clients across UCSF Medical Center floors. You will collect specimens, label containers, and ensure accurate record keeping.

The role requires California phlebotomy certification, a high school diploma, and hands-on laboratory experience; ability to work under pressure and rotate across UCSF sites. Strong computer skills, including Windows and Office, are expected, with flexibility for varying schedules.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of laboratory experience or two years of college with science courses and one year of laboratory experience.
• Current California State Phlebotomy Certificate.
• Experience with phlebotomy across diverse patient types.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to rotate across UCSF locations and varying schedules.
• Proficient with PC, Windows, Word, Excel.

Mansioni

• Provide services to both inpatient and outpatient clients as assigned.
• Collect specimens, label containers, and prepare specimens for the laboratory.
• Maintain accurate records of drawn specimens using established procedures.
• Assist in bone marrow collections and clerical duties as needed.
• Process specimens and enter data, coordinating transport to the main lab.
• Rotate to multiple UCSF sites and off-site locations as required.
