You will process specimens, identify issues, and maintain strict PHI safeguards in a fast-paced environment, supporting quality control and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part in processing and preparing specimens to be sent out to different reference labs.
• Identifies specimen issues and in some cases, may resolve issues with specimen types.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
