Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school.
• Licensed under the NYS Dept. of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technician.
• Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and/or bacteriological tests to obtain data for the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Work with hospital staff to ensure accurate and timely lab results.
• May require weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled.
