Minimum of 2 years of college in Biology or related field plus 3 years of lab experience, or 4 years of college with 1 year of lab work, are required. Contract lasts 13 weeks with potential extension; pay ranges from $34.00 to $44.00 per hour, plus

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of college education in Biology or a related field plus 3 years of experience in a life science or chemistry laboratory, OR 4 years of college education plus 1 year of laboratory experience.
Experience with sample handling and quantitative chemical analysis; proficiency with lab instruments and Excel.

Responsibilities

Prepare clinical samples and products for testing following laboratory protocols.
Identify discrepancies and ensure strict adherence to procedures.
Set up instruments and programming for automated tasks.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments; replenish reagents.
Document quality control measures and maintain sample inventories.
Update databases for sample tracking and storage; ensure data accuracy.
