Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Tulsa, OK team. The role focuses on verifying specimen acceptability and performing standard and complex procedures per SOPs to support accurate patient test results.

Position requires an Associate’s degree in a chemical or biological science, with preferred ASCP or AMT certification. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree in a chemical or biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Preferred ASCP or AMT certification.
• Proficiency with computer systems and laboratory information systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to SOPs.
• Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
• Perform preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE.
