Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Technician to join our Oklahoma City team. The role involves determining specimen acceptability, performing technical procedures, and ensuring accurate test results to support patient care.

Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and computer skills are essential. A related associate degree is required, with preferred bachelor’s degree and certification. The work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, in an Oncology Clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate’s degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological Science, CL S, or Medical Technology and ASCP/AMT certification.

Responsibilities

• Determine acceptability of specimens for testing per SOPs.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Report accurate test results to support patient care.
• Maintain safety and quality controls.
• Assist with processing specimens as needed.
