Job summary

Aylo Health Services, Inc. in Conyers, GA, seeks a Lab Tech/Lab Assistant to support a primary care practice under physician/PA/NP supervision. You will handle lab tasks and patient care across ages.

Responsibilities include quality control, equipment maintenance, CLIA-waived tests, phlebotomy, EMR data entry, stocking, and HIPAA compliance. One year of lab experience preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of lab processor/ lab assistant experience required; enrollment in MLT program may substitute.
• Graduate of an MLT program preferred; certification not required.
• Current BLS card from the American Heart Association before hire.
• Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control, monitors equipment temperatures, and daily lab tasks.
• Maintains diagnostic equipment through daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Performs routine laboratory and general tasks for daily operation of the lab.
• Collects, prepares, cleans, and stores lab equipment.
• Performs phlebotomy and maintains lab records/files.
• Performs CLIA-waived and moderate complexity tests.
• Inputs data into EMR or similar systems.
• Inventory and stocks reagents and materials.
• Adheres to care standards, code of conduct, and HIPAA.
