Unity Health in Searcy, Arkansas is seeking a qualified professional for performing and reporting diagnostic tests within the laboratory. The role involves ensuring quality assurance and compliance with safety programs as required by OSHA and CLIA 88.
Ideal candidates will hold an Associate of Science degree and possess knowledge of patient care across all age groups. This position is classified as 'safety sensitive', requiring adherence to strict guidelines regarding medical marijuana use.
In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all patients, associates, and guests, Unity Health has classified some positions as “safety sensitive.” A “safety sensitive” position is any job position in which impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of self or others. Any associate that is actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even if in possession of a valid medical marijuana card, will be excluded from employment in a “safety sensitive” position.
Responsible for performing and reporting results of all diagnostic tests offered by Unity Health Laboratory while participating in QA, IC, Safety QCI, and proficiency testing programs as required by OSHA and CLIA 88. This position requires knowledge in the care of patients served as indicated: Neonate and infant birth up to one year, Childhood and Adolescence is one year to 17 years, Adult is 18 to 65 years and Geriatric is 65 years and above.
Physical Effort: Walking, bending, using stairs, working with bio-hazardous material, wearing of protective material as required by OSHA.
