Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Completion of a laboratory assistant course approved by ASCP.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform Specimen Process Activities, including receiving, sorting, and prioritizing specimens and requests.
• Perform Customer Service by responding to inquiries from patients, clients, and staff.
• Share knowledge by orienting and training new employees and supporting performance improvement.
• Utilize Problem-Solving Skills to resolve specimen and order-related problems with documentation.
