Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Medical Lab Technician to perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests on blood and body fluids, ensuring accurate results and strict QC standards. The role includes equipment maintenance and collaboration with clinicians to support timely patient care.

Position is PRN—Flexible, As Needed, requiring reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science or MLT.
• Military Medical Laboratory Procedures course (50 weeks) and related MOS preferred.
• 0-2 years acute care lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high-complexity lab tests with timely reporting.
• Follow quality control protocols and troubleshoot out-of-range results.
• Operate and maintain instruments; perform preventive maintenance.
• Collect and document specimen handling and chain-of-custody as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with safety regulations.
