Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Specialist Team Leader to perform complex pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic processes and may perform specimen collection. The role supports day-to-day operations, mentors staff, and ensures timely, accurate testing in a high‑volume clinical lab.

Located at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI, the position requires at least 0.5 FTE on bench with 40 hours weekly and potential off-shift exposure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Four years of laboratory experience or a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex processes including collecting specimens, processing and resulting tests.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and safety procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Provides training and supports team in day-to-day operations and scheduling.
