Labcorp in Durham, NC is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Team Leader to oversee daily operations in the Cytogenetics/FISH lab. The role requires leading a team, ensuring accurate test results, and maintaining instrument performance during the 1pm–11:30pm shift.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science and 5+ years in cytogenetics/fish lab testing, with ASCP/AMT certifications preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration, quality control, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science or Medical Technology.
• 5+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience in Cytogenetics/FISH labs.
• ASCP and/or AMT certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the supervisor with day-to-day operations of the department/lab.
• Send production reports to management.
• Assist with training of new hires and development of current employees.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
