Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Team Leader to join our Burlington, NC team. The role focuses on daily operations, training staff, and ensuring quality patient test results.

Strong leadership and robust laboratory experience are required to support high-volume testing and instrument troubleshooting. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a chemical/biological science or Medical Technology with 2+ years in clinical labs; ASCP/AMT certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• ASCP and/or AMT Certifications preferred.
• 2 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor with day to day operations of the Department/Lab Name department.
• Send daily, weekly and monthly productions reports to management.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new hires and development of current employees.
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science/Medical Technology

ASCP and/or AMT Certifications
