Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify patient specimen IDs and orders.
• Accession specimens and orders accurately for testing progression.
• Label specimens per policy to ensure correct identification through processing.
• Prepare and process specimens to maintain integrity in pre- and post-analytic phases.
• Maintain readiness of the work area and facilitate communication between hospital staff.
• Assist with trouble-shooting and data entry for reports and orders.
