Children's National Hospital is seeking a Clinical Lab Support Representative to assist with specimen collection, patient services, and administrative tasks within the Phlebotomy team of the Laboratory Department. This role supports both outpatient and inpatient settings and requires strong patient interaction and accurate data handling.

The position involves collecting specimens, verifying patient information, assisting with insurance checks, and scheduling in the computer system.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related experience in an accredited clinical setting required.

Responsabilidades

• Process specimens by centrifugation, aliquot and sort into test areas and for storage.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of specimens for laboratory areas.
• Troubleshoot specimen processing procedures and resolve labeling or requisition issues.
• Enter test orders and results in LIS; schedule and register patients in the system.
