Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Clinical Lab Support Rep for the Phlebotomy team. The role involves specimen collection, patient interaction, data entry, and coordination of scheduling and registration in our laboratory operations.

Responsibilities include processing specimens, maintaining accurate patient records, and assisting with training and department duties. A High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 2 years - Related experience in an accredited clinical setting. (Required).

Responsabilités

• Process specimens, centrifugation, aliquot and sort into test areas.
• Greet patients/parents, schedule and register in computer systems, collect demographic and insurance information.
• Answer inquiries, verify insurance eligibility, and provide patient education and assistance.
• Enter orders, verify test requisitions, and manage specimen labeling and routing.
• Assist in training staff and scheduling patients in the system.
