Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor in Oregon. The role will oversee technologists, phlebotomists, and lab staff, ensuring specimen integrity, proper handling, and accurate testing while maintaining robust lab policies and quality standards.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and ASCP or MT-AMT certification (required in OR & HI), with 5+ years of clinical lab experience preferred, including hospital CLS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• ASCP or MT-AMT certification (required in OR & HI).
• 5+ years clinical lab experience preferred; hospital CLS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technologists, phlebotomists, and lab support staff.
• Maintain lab policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure specimen integrity, proper handling, and accurate testing.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and staff performance evaluations.
• Comply with CLIA, CAP, FDA, Joint Commission, AABB, and OSHA.
• Rotate as CLS in multiple lab departments as needed.
• Weekend coverage and occasional call required.
