Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a PRN Night shift. The role involves performing clinical laboratory testing under supervision, maintaining equipment and records, and ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of lab data.

Under supervision of laboratory leadership, you will contribute to quality assurance, proficiency testing, and ongoing training to support patient care. Prior MT/MLS certification is required or highly preferred, with extensive responsibilities

Qualifications

• Requires MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification.
• Maintains quality assurance and proficiency testing per protocols.
• Performs clinical laboratory testing under supervision with accuracy and turnaround times.
