Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures with accuracy and precision, following standard procedures.
• Reviews and reports patient results with required documentation.
• Performs and evaluates quality control data including expiration dates and QC documentation.
• Maintains and documents instrument and equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions per protocol.
• Works independently within guidelines, meets deadlines and urgent patient needs.
• Reviews and revises test procedures when needed.
• Participates in evaluations of new tests or instruments.
• Monitors inventory and coordinates with ordering for supplies.
