Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree with MT/HT/MLS/HTL qualifications or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree from NAACLS-approved MT/HTL program or equivalent
• Registered or eligible for registry as MLT/HT/MT/HTL (ASCP/AMT) or equivalent
• 3 years MT/MLS/CLS/HTL; or 5 years MLT/HT
• Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988 requirements

Qualifications

Education

• Associate's degree with MLT (ASCP/AMT), HT (ASCP/AMT), or the equivalent in education and clinical lab experience OR a Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year MT or HTL program approved a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent or eligible.
• Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.

Experience

• 3 years of experience as MT/MLS/CLS/HTL; or 5 years as MLT/HT

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC

• Registered or eligible for registry as MLT or HT, or MT (ASCP/AMT) or HTL (ASCP/AMT) or equivalent

Compensation/Benefits

• $28.95-$47.28/hr depending on previous work experience.
