Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to perform a broad range of laboratory tests across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, blood bank, and microbiology. You will ensure accuracy, adhere to protocols, and communicate critical results to care teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree, CLS certification, and at least three years of related experience, with strong leadership, mentorship, and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of three years of related work experience.
• CLS certification/licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical lab tests across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, blood bank, and microbiology.
• Ensure specimen suitability and follow established procedures and policies.
• Record, report, and review test results with attention to turn-around times and accuracy.
• Escalate critical results and communicate with physicians and nursing staff as appropriate.
• Maintain calibration and quality control, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
