Job summary

AdventHealth Celebration in Florida is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform pre-analytical tasks, specimen processing, equipment maintenance and quality checks within a full-time Day shift. The pay range posted reflects competency in clinical lab duties and adherence to safety standards.

The role includes post-analytical responsibilities, reporting results, and supporting clinical staff. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science is required, with CLIA equivalency options outlined, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in chemical/biological/clinical or medical laboratory science, or CLIA equivalency as listed in additional information.
2+ years of clinical lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs pre-analytical activities including equipment maintenance, function checks, inventory control, supply stocking, specimen collection, biological specimen processing, cleaning and disinfection of laboratory equipment and spaces.
Conducts post-analytical activities related to laboratory testing, including reporting results and providing technical support.
Completes tests and analytical procedures efficiently and accurately according to established SOPs.
Participates in proficiency testing, adhering to federal and state regulations and institutional policies.
