Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology or related field.
• Certification (MLS or categorical) or a certificate of completion in medical laboratory science is required.
• Ability to demonstrate competency in phlebotomy in applicable departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing with high technical knowledge and accuracy.
• Assist with department compliance to CLIA '88, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Handle collection, receipt and processing of specimens when applicable.
