Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receives, identifies, organizes, and prioritizes specimens for accurate and timely testing.
• Performs and reports laboratory procedures as requested.
• Conducts quality control, proficiency testing, routine instrument maintenance, and inventory management.
• Ensures positive patient identification to minimize errors and adverse outcomes.
• Evaluates data, draws appropriate conclusions, and supports ongoing learning.
• Completes assigned goals and may instruct personnel and students in medical technology.
