Job summary

Eurofins Viracor LLC is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for Lenexa, KS. This full-time role performs laboratory testing, maintains equipment, and ensures quality results in a fast-paced environment.

The CLS conducts SOP-based assays, supports QA activities, mentors junior staff, and adheres to safety and timing requirements while working with infectious materials. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Clinical Laboratory Science or related degree, or an Associate's in MLT with relevant experience.
• Willing to work with potentially infectious human blood and body fluids.
• Experience with automated and manual platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory assays per Viracor Eurofins SOPs.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure quality results.
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and reagents.
• Accept or reject test results per SOPs.
• Document remedial action and QA activities.
• Adhere to processing timelines and safety standards.
• Mentor associates and participate in training.
• Troubleshoot with supervision.
