Job summary

Tahoe Forest Health System seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform laboratory analyses 24/7 in compliance with CLIA-88 and accreditation standards. You will ensure accurate data, proper specimen handling, and safe patient care across departments.

The role requires a CA CLS license or NV supervisor license and a Bachelor’s degree in a health science field, with 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a health science related discipline or equivalent.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in clinical laboratory setting.
• California CLS license or Nevada supervisor license required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analytical tests with accuracy and document results in LIS.
• Maintain instrument/equipment, troubleshoot, and notify when down.
• Communicate with nursing and physicians to ensure proper specimen handling and patient safety.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or higher in health science

CA CLS license or NV Lab Technologist-General Supervisor license
