Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a part-time laboratory support specialist for 2:00pm–10:30pm shifts with one holiday per year. You will register patients, process specimens and ensure accurate billing in the SEH system, while treating patients and colleagues with respect and empathy.

Responsibilities include accurate EPIC/LIS registration, specimen labeling, and handling of orders and results. Candidates need strong data-entry skills, organization, and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• Keyboard and data entry skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Minimum 1 year clerical experience.
• Data entry speed above 100 net keystrokes/min.

Responsibilities

• Register and process patient information accurately in EPIC and LIS.
• Provide courteous patient and client service.
• Receive and label specimens according to safety protocols.
• Sort specimens to correct testing locations and maintain specimen integrity.
• Assist in test ordering, results handling and billing accuracy.
