Job summary

St. Elizabeth HealthCare in New Jersey seeks a Laboratory Registration Clerk to register, order, receive and process specimens accurately, aiding the Billing Department to ensure correct invoicing. You will interact with patients, families and staff respectfully and maintain data integrity.

Responsibilities include EPIC order placement, specimen labeling, and coordinating with physicians and lab personnel. A High School diploma and clerical experience are preferred; full-time, 32 hours weekly,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Keyboard and data entry skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Minimum 1 year clerical experience.
• Data entry speed of 100+ keystrokes per minute.

Responsibilities

• Register and process patient accounts accurately in EPIC.
• Provide courteous, respectful customer service to patients and staff.
• Receive and label specimens; ensure correct specimen tracking.
• Sort and deliver specimens to appropriate testing locations.
• Perform testing support activities and handle routine duties as assigned.
