Job summary

Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Laboratory General Supervisor to lead daily operations of the Clinical Laboratory, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular and Urinalysis. The role supports the Manager/Director and directs short- and long-term vision, quality, safety, and patient-focused lab services.

Qualifications

• MLS or MT certification by ASCP or equivalent is required.
• BS in Medical Technology or related science field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory managerial experience; 5 years in Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Banking, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Serology, Immunology, and/or Microbiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Train, lead, coach, and mentor staff; schedule timecards and manage performance evaluations.
• Oversee daily lab operations across Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular and Urinalysis; monitor goals.
• Lead quality assurance programs; ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance; improve patient care delivery.
• Ensure safety and adherence to policies; manage staff competency and interdepartmental collaboration.
