Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, TX, is seeking a Clinical Lab Microbiologist (BS, MT(ASCP)) for a full-time, on-site role.

The position involves analyzing aerobic, anaerobic and fungal cultures, performing ID/AST on Vitek 2, molecular testing on GeneXpert and BioFire, and blood cultures on Bactec FX-40. Expect QC, IQCP monitoring, and instrument maintenance on a rotating schedule, with weekends/holidays rotating; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• BS in Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, or Clinical Microbiology.

Responsabilités

• Perform Quality Control and IQCP monitors.
• Conduct function checks and maintenance on instruments.
• Assist supervising technologists with routine microbiology duties.
• Handle aerobic, anaerobic, fungal/yeast cultures and ID/AST as required.
