Job summary

You will serve as a bench resource, support method verification and quality management, and provide direction to technicians and staff while maintaining Florida licensure requirements and CLIA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field with Florida licensure requirements.
• Current MLS(ASCP) or MT(ASCP) certification or equivalent.
• Current Florida licensure as a technologist or eligibility with timely licensure.
• Meets CLIA high complexity testing personnel qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report moderate and high complexity testing across general laboratory disciplines.
• Review quality control data, evaluate shifts and trends, and initiate corrective action.
• Verify new lots and methods, and validate precision, accuracy, and ranges.
• Operate instruments, document results, and report critical values per policy.
