Job summary

Vastian seeks an Education Developer with a strong medical laboratory science background to create and maintain continuing education for lab professionals. You will work with SMEs and contract authors, applying instructional design and LMS best practices to deliver engaging, accurate content.

The role emphasizes regulatory knowledge (CLIA, CAP, ASCP), quality oversight, and learner-centered design to grow our education portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science or related NAACLS-accredited program.
• MLS(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) certification or equivalent.
• 5+ years in clinical lab or lab education setting; educator role preferred.
• Graduate degree in Curriculum Development, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and improve CE courses, mini-courses, case-based learning and assessments.
• Provide scientific and editorial oversight for content from authors and SMEs.
• Apply lab expertise and instructional design to close knowledge gaps and ensure accuracy.
