Job summary

Natera is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Associate in California to analyze patient samples using standard methods and maintain equipment in good operating condition. You will troubleshoot malfunctions and ensure GLP compliance while handling PHI securely.

The role requires up-to-date knowledge of laboratory methods, attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Training, HIPAA/PHI privacy, and security courses are mandatory within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a biological science or similar field required.
• 0–2 years of industry experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing patient samples per SOP with accuracy.
• Maintain updated knowledge of laboratory methods performed.
• Adhere to GLP, keep workspace clean and organized.
• Complete training and deadlines on time.
• Identify and escalate equipment malfunctions; document deviations.
