Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, identify, label, process, and transport specimens.
• Perform clerical duties including phones, filing, scanning, and data entry in EMR/LIS.
• Verify patient identification and specimen accuracy.
• Perform waived testing and proper storage/submission of specimens.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Support reporting of test results to providers; assist in documentation.
• Assist in staff training and quality improvement efforts.
• Participate in lab meetings, in-services, and safety protocols.
