Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories is hiring for an evening-shift laboratory support role in Phoenix, AZ. The position assists technical lab staff with collection, receipt and processing of biological specimens, and prepares samples for testing.

May perform waived and/or limited moderate complexity testing under CLIA guidance and reports to department leadership. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification; DHS fingerprinting and a state driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification per state regulations.
• Must be able to obtain fingerprinting certification if required.
• Valid state driver's license may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical lab staff with specimen collection, receipt and processing.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and maintain proper labeling.
• Perform waived or limited moderate complexity testing as allowed by CLIA.
• Follow established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
