TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. This hourly role requires independent work, adherence to on-call schedules, and accurate clerical duties to support lab operations and patient care.

Responsibilities include specimen processing, inventory maintenance, and professional interaction with patients and staff. Immunization and program completion are preferred; on-site work at Presbyterian Hospital is required.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Immunization against Hepatitis B required or waiver accepted.

Responsabilités

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains supplies and inventory to perform departmental functions.
• Observe students and new staff as needed.
• Demonstrates professional judgment when dealing with clients and co-workers.
• Participates in on-call responsibilities during scheduled hours by location.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Participates in coverage for holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Basic PC skills for documentation and communication.
