Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• State CPT I or CPT II certification if required by state.
• Current BCLS certificate on hire and maintain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs computer entry, filing, telephone communication and other clerical duties.
• Greet patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
• Demonstrates good communication skills in lab settings.
• Demonstrates knowledge of test terminology used in the laboratory.
• Possesses knowledge of phlebotomy and specimen collection across age groups.
• Processes specimens across pathology, microbiology, immunology, hematology, chemistry, and blood bank.
