Job summary

DLH Corp is seeking a Scientific Programmer to develop and maintain clinical IT systems for the NIA IRP. You will collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and vendors to deliver secure software that supports data collection, management, and integration across IRP sites.

The role requires HL7, DICOM, and PACS proficiency, plus frontend and backend development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and relational databases. A Public Trust clearance is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of clinical application programming or health IT development.
• Experience designing, coding, debugging, and deploying multi-tier apps.
• Experience with HL7, DICOM, PACS, and web frontends.
• Familiarity with Git and multiple DB engines; secure coding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, debug, and implement stand-alone, web-based, and multi-tier applications for IRP/NIA.
• Create frontends using HTML/CSS/JavaScript; backends with Perl/PHP and PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Work in a DevSecOps environment and maintain Puppet-based configurations.
• Support clinical IT and laboratory IT systems across IRP sites.
• Document software and data, and communicate with end users for improvements.
