The Department of Economic Security (DES) invites applications for a Clinical Investigative Nurse in Coolidge, AZ. This role supports the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) to investigate and report on care quality and compliance, coordinating with protective services and DHS/CMS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in investigative reporting and CMS-standard documentation.
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Arizona.
• Experience with the Intellectual Disability population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical investigations within five workdays with CMS-compliant reporting.
• Submit detailed, clear investigative reports and document corrective actions.
• Promote health, safety, and welfare of IID and interface with protective services/law enforcement.
• Review DHS procedures to ensure compliance with rules and standards.
• Travel 2–4 days per week between State Operated Facilities to conduct investigations and interviews.
• Conduct interviews with all involved and relevant parties.
