Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy is seeking a Clinical Intervention Technician in Houston, TX for a full-time role. The position supports nurses, pharmacists, and technicians in daily workflows to ensure adverse events and product complaints are reported promptly.

The ideal candidate has pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Starting salary is $21.00 hourly with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Very high attention to detail.
• Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge, knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication, basic math and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work independently, work efficiently to meet deadlines.
• High school or equivalent.
• Required: 1+ years pharmacy experience
• Desired: 3+ years pharmacy experience
• Desired: Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB), specialty pharmacy experience

Responsibilities

This will be a Full-Time position, great pay and benefits! Hours are M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm CST, 9:30am-6:00pm EST, and 10:30AM-7:00PM CST.

• Reports adverse drug reactions that occur within the facility’s population within 24 hours of notification.
• Adheres to all reporting procedures outlined in the GSI documents and Adverse Events Reporting Guidelines.
• Appropriately assesses adverse drug reactions to determine proper reporting through manufacturer specific forms and MedWatch forms.
• Assists with reconciliation related activities for compliance with manufacturer Pharmacovigilance programs.
• Reviews progress notes and patient profiles to identify appropriate information required to complete comprehensive adverse drug reaction reports.
• Completes manufacturer training within designated time frames.
• Performs activities related to the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs.
• Follows procedures, rules, regulations and compliance with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.
