Job summary

Onco360 Pharmacy in Woodridge, IL seeks a Clinical Intervention - Pharmacy Technician to join our specialty pharmacy team. This full-time role supports nursing, pharmacy staff and management to ensure adverse event reporting and timely task completion.

Starting salary is $23.00 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for those starting before August 31, 2026. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, tuition reimbursement and company-paid life/disability benefits.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of pharmacy experience required.
  • Pharmacy Technician registration/certification required.
  • Desired: CPhT or CPhT-ADV credentials.
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and adverse event reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist nurses, pharmacists, technicians, supervisors and managers in daily workflow.
  • Report adverse drug reactions within 24 hours of notification.
  • Ensure accurate reporting through manufacturer forms and MedWatch.
  • Reconcile activities for pharmacovigilance compliance.
  • Review progress notes and patient profiles to complete ADR reports.
  • Complete manufacturer training within defined time frames.
  • Comply with state and federal pharmacy laws and REMS programs.
  • Support team and perform other duties as assigned.

The Clinical Intervention Technician will assist nurses, pharmacists, technicians, supervisors, and managers in daily workflow to ensure appropriate reporting of adverse events and product complaints. They will ensure all assigned tasks are completed daily.

Starting salary at $23.00 hourly and up.

Clinical Intervention - Pharmacy Technician Major Responsibilities:
  • Reports adverse drug reactions that occur within the facility's population within 24 hours of notification.
  • Adheres to all reporting procedures outlined in the GSI documents and Adverse Events Reporting Guidelines.
  • Appropriately assesses adverse drug reactions to determine proper reporting through manufacturer specific forms and MedWatch forms.
  • Assists with reconciliation related activities for compliance with manufacturer Pharmacovigilance programs.
  • Reviews progress notes and patient profiles to identify appropriate information required to complete comprehensive adverse drug reaction reports.
  • Completes manufacturer training within designated time frames.
  • Performs activities related to the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal laws and REMS programs.
  • Follows procedures, rules, regulations and compliance with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and other duties as assigned.
Clinical Intervention - Pharmacy Technician Qualifications and Responsibilities:
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge, knowledge of pharmacy terminology including sig codes, and Roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication, basic math and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills

  • Ability to work independently, work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, great time-management skills
Required education:
  • High school or equivalent
Required experience:
  • Required: 1+ years pharmacy experience
  • Desired: 3+ years pharmacy experience
Required license or certification:
  • Required: Pharmacy Technician registration/certification
  • Desired: Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB), specialty pharmacy experience
