Job summary

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist (Finance) to work with administrative and clinical staff in managing client communication and records. The role includes data entry, release of information, and archiving of records, with on-site responsibilities in Reading, PA.

The position requires a High School diploma, about one year of medical/mental health office experience, and knowledge of medical billing and insurance is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in medical or mental health care office or professional business office with customer service and data entry.
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer the intake line during business hours.
• Process all new referrals and verify insurance eligibility.
• Transmittal of referral information to appropriate person or service within the agency.
• Data entry of all referral information in electronic records.
